Q  The first question most people ask is how much?.

A  Rates are negotiable and will depend on the complexity of the job I can work on a fixed price, day or hourly rate or deferred fee until your inventions are marketed and you are rich.

Q  I have an idea for an invention but I cant afford to develop it.

A  In situations like this I am happy to share the risk if I can share the reward. I will do all the drawing work for a small percentage of the profits when the product goes into manufacture.

Q  Can you draw plans for model aircraft and boats

A  yes.

Q I cant draw properly so how do I show you what I want

A  I have been transcribing peoples doodles and attempts at freehand drawing for over 40 years as well as extracting information from people of many different nationalities overseas in order to prepare drawings, so don’t worry. Firstly we will establish the design brief and specifications from the information you supply, from this there will be a “flurry” of freehand sketches passing between us showing proposals, which will establish that I have understood your requirements and ensure that I am drawing "what you want" instead of "what I think you want". When you are happy the sketches do meet your needs then I will prepare the finished drawings

Q  How long does it take you to do a drawing

A  Drawing time only accounts for a small portion of the time on a project. The greatest amount of time is spent thinking and researching information. The clearer your needs the quicker the drawings. For example Electrical drawings similar to those in the Electrical section taken from sketches take around 45 min. each With a domestic Architectural project I spend about 16 hours to site measure, prepare the detailed drawings, submit them for planning / building control and follow them through to completion with another 8 hours to bring a scheme to the point of finished “Artists impressions” similar to the ones I’ve prepared and shown in the 3D pages of this site
