Cenarth

This is possibly the most photographed water mill in Wales. It is a 17th Century Flour mill and is set above the salmon leaps of the river Teifi near New Castle Emlyn. It has been used in films, T.V. programs, advertising and with its setting it is frequent location for art and photographic societies as well as numerous other associations. Martin the owner also runs the world famous National Coracle centre on the same site (see the link at the end of this page)

This device is a grain cleaner made S. Hughes from Silver Creek, New York & is the EUREKA model. Please get in touch if you have any information about the internals and how it works.

Martin & his wife run the National Coracle centre and the Flour mill. They receive NO financial help from any of the authorities, but need to conform to all the bureaucratic red tape they impose. Click on the image to visit their web site
